ACC Chairman Iqbal Mahmood met with the US Justice Department's resident legal adviser Eric Apenga at the ACC's headquarters in Segunbagicha.

The chairman of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), Iqbal Mahmood, has sought the assistance of all such organizations, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), to enforce the money laundering laws.
The ACC chairman made the call at a meeting with Eric Appenga, a residential legal adviser at the US Justice Department, at the ACC headquarters in Segunbagicha on Monday. The meeting was held to discuss mutual cooperation.
Iqbal Mahmood said the ACC has close ties with the US Justice Department and the FBI. These organizations are giving substantial assistance to the officials in training the officers to recover the money smuggled from this country and to enhance the Commission's own competence. The chairman of the ACC thanked them for this.
